The Last Embrace

A young vampire awakens in the modern world after sleeping for almost one thousand years. She appears to be the last of her kind in a story driven visual novel filled with mystery, betrayal, loss, and danger.

The player guides Kyra, an 18 year old protagonist whose name can be changed early in the prologue. She did not understand her vampire nature before her long sleep and now remembers only fragments of the past. Kyra must adapt to modern city life, meet new people, and uncover the truth behind her identity.

The story takes place in 2025. A millennium earlier, vampires spread across the known world and nearly destroyed human society. Humanity eventually united against them and believed the species had been eliminated.

Vampires have since faded into legend, yet Kyra wakes as the final known survivor with no memory of her transformation. Her choices determine how she survives, handles her nature, and responds to conspiracies, revenge, and violent events as the history of the world gradually comes to light.
