Sunset Hills

Seven years after the war, rising novelist Nico boards a train for a journey across several countries and cities for a private and unusual reason.

Along the way, Nico meets many people and reunites with comrades who once shared the danger of war. Their conversations and memories reveal what happened in the past and gradually explain the real goal of the trip.

A colorful world of dogs is presented through picture book inspired artwork, three dimensional environments, and two dimensional characters. Hundreds of residents and Victorian style city buildings create a calm and richly detailed postwar setting.

Dozens of original puzzles and varied minigames connect to everyday activities. Solving them expands understanding of the world and leads into memories where past and present overlap.

Point and click investigation uses dialogue for clues and environmental interaction for collecting objects. Items can be used, combined, and taken apart as new puzzle mechanics are introduced throughout the journey.
